Mission Statement

 The mission of the Mt. Morris (Illinois) Let Freedom Ring Festival Committee, a non-for-profit, volunteer organization, is to plan, implement, and sustain funding for a high quality, family-oriented festival, which showcases Mt. Morris in conjunction with and in celebration of our Nation’s Independence Day. 

Festival events shall remain central in location to the Official Illinois State Freedom Bell; events shall be continuously improved to meet and exceed the expectations of our sponsors and patrons; festival expansion shall be balanced to assure the viability of future festivals and the preservation of a small town Independence Day festival experience. 

We will accomplish this through the combined efforts of committee members and volunteers working in conjunction with area businesses and civic organizations to ensure that the Mt. Morris (Illinois) Let Freedom Ring Festival shall be preserved for future generations to come.
